Believe it or not, we’re only 20 weeks out!

If you’ve subscribed to our newsletter, you should have recently received your first missive from us. And as we get closer to the event, we’ll have a lot more announcements to come. So watch your inboxes! And if you haven’t yet subscribed to our newsletter, it’s as easy as entering your e-mail address into the top-right corner. Once you do, you might find the experience particularly rewarding.

Have you bought your ticket yet? If so, you should plan on staying at the amazing Grand Hyatt resort where the Dad 2.0 Summit is being held. Click over to our dedicated room reservations website and claim your digs at our super-low rate of $199 per night. Each room is double occupancy and is perfect for pairing up with a roommate or bringing the family. But please book soon; March is one of the resort’s most popular times, and once our block of rooms is sold out, you might have to sleep down by the Colorado River. With all the critters.

The Dad 2 Crew had our first group site visit to the Hyatt Lost Pines at the end of August, and to quote our buddy Stephon, this place has everything. (Except maybe ice-fishing). We’ve planned out a full weekend of education, valuable connections, fun, and memories that is rapidly firming up, and the only blanks left to fill involve … you. If you’ve submitted a speaker proposal, awesome. We’ll be announcing our speaker list on Tuesday, December 6.

And remember, if you buy a ticket and are subsequently selected as a Dad 2.0 speaker, your entire Summit fee will be refunded, as a “thank you” for helping make Dad 2.0 a great and unique event.

Lastly, over the next month, while we’re condensing speaker proposals into 12 specific and concentrated sessions, we’ll also be growing moustaches. Partially because we want something to twiddle while we’re thinking, but mostly because we’re taking part in Movember and raising money for prostate cancer research. If you’re game for formulating a little facial fur, join our team! It’s only Day 4, and we’ve already raised over $4,100.

We’re psyched to tell you more about Dad 2.0 as we work our way to Austin. Keep checking your inbox, the Dad 2.0 Summit site, Facebook, and Twitter for more details.

See you in March!
