December has arrived, and with it the end of another happily hirsute Movember. Many grateful significant others looked on today as our mustaches came off, and our fundraising neared $9,000 toward research into men’s cancers. Thanks to all 64 of the growers on (and supporters of) the Dads/Bloggers team, who turned #MovemberDads into another great success. And if you meant to contribute but haven’t yet, don’t worry: Your support is welcome year-round!
While we’re on the subject of giving, we’re particularly happy to report that the Dad 2.0 Scholarship Fund has broken the $1,500 mark, which means we’ll have at least four $500 stipends to award on December 22! Full details are available here, and if you’re looking to contribute or apply, we’re looking forward to your involvement.
Throughout our four years as a conference, we’ve especially appreciated brands who treat moms and dads equally, as extraordinary parents, and who invest in building fruitful relationships with both. That’s why we’re very happy to add Tree Top to this group, as an Official Sponsor of Dad 2.015!
When you think of Tree Top, you probably think of apple juice and apple sauce. For more than 50 years, Tree Top has thrived in the heart of apple country in Washington state, as a grower-owned co-operative that uses nothing but American-grown apples in its juices and sauces. The company is rooted in the co-op’s small town heritage and rural values, and most of the growers’ families have been growing apples for generations. While Tree Top’s family of products has grown to include snacks like the Good-to-Go Fruit Pouches, its goals remain the same: stay true to the company heritage, source local ingredients whenever possible, and remain the best pick for your family’s table.
Welcome aboard, Tree Top!
