Did you hear? We’re shaking things up. After a Decade of Februarys, Dad 2.0 is planning its first-ever fall event, to be held October 1-2, 2020, in the great city of Los Angeles!
Why? A bunch of reasons, really. The foremost being: If our next event is our tenth, why wait a whole year to have it?
We’ve planned to do this since we re-branded last year, because we’re evolving from 1) the conference that happens once a year to 2) the year-round global effort to discuss and define modern fatherhood. And we’re meeting multiple times to encourage more community leadership, undertake more important work, and offer more opportunities to connect:
Ten years after we started this conversation, we’re launching a new-look Dad 2.0, with a whole new roster of events and activities that encourage more community leadership, more opportunities to connect, and more focused editorial content on our blog, our Medium community, our podcast, and all our social media platforms.
Events will run Thursday and Friday with optional Saturday activities, and they’ll adhere to a particular focus, such as Influencer Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Parenting and the Workplace, Modern Fatherhood and Manhood, and Issue-Driven Dadvocacy. And space will be limited, so grab your spot while you can!
Our vision for the next decade starts during the first weekend of October, and if you head to www.dad2summit.com/LA and use the code dad2LA before midnight tonight, we’ll slice $20 off the already ridiculously low price of $99 and send it to this year’s Oren Miller Dad 2.0 Scholarship Fund. And thanks to you, we’ve already funded two Miller Grants for Dad 2.020.2! (Does that work as a recognizable thing? It’s cool enough just as a palindrome.)
Join us for the next decade of Dad 2.0, and we’ll see you in LA, baby!
